Extreme Networks Appoints Alessandro Cozzi as Regional Director of the EMEA South Region

Extreme Networks announces the appointment of Alessandro Cozzi as Regional Director of the EMEA South Region, composed of France, Italy, Portugal and Spain. His main objective will be to accelerate the company’s growth in these markets by exploiting all opportunities created by the recent acquisitions of Avaya Networking  and Brocade’s data center networking business.

Instrumental for the success will be a greater focus on key B2B vertical markets, through stronger relationships with current channel partners and by leveraging software-driven solutions from the enterprise edge to the cloud that are agile, adaptive, and secure to enable digital transformation.

Alessandro Cozzi graduated in Economics in Milan, and after a professional experience in the US began his career as a consultant and then entered the ICT sector. During his career he worked in companies such as Alcatel, Intermec and Westcon Group, where he held positions of growing managerial responsibility.

He has also worked at Cable & Wireless for about ten years, reaching the positions of Chief Executive Officer, President of Italy and Director of European Sales for the Carrier Business and Global Enterprise units.

In 2012 he joined Huawei Italia, as Country Director Enterprise Business Group and then as Vice President Global Partners and Alliances, Western Europe.
