From April 24-26, the Extreme Networks team will be at Vitalis, “the Largest eHealth event in Scandinavia.” We’ll join other exhibitors and health and IT professionals for three days of immersive learning around everything related to the eHealth Transformation.
Vitalis has become the largest and most important healthcare conference in Scandinavia because it’s the only conference and exhibition in Scandinavia that gives attendees the big picture. Over 4,500 healthcare professionals converge to network with each other and expand their knowledge of industry challenges, solutions, and innovations.
The hot issues that will be discussed at Vitalis this year include:
In addition, for the 2nd consecutive year, the Intelligent Health Association is returning to Vitalis to present the Intelligent Health Pavilion. The IHA just finished up its presentation of the HIMSS18 IHP in early March. At HIMSS18, Extreme Networks powered the IHP for the 5th straight year. Following up on our IHP presence at HIMSS18, Extreme will demonstrate clinical workflow scenarios for improving patient services and care in the IHP’s demonstration ICU and Patient Rooms.
The IHP simulates what occurs in certain hospital rooms. It gives visitors a look into how mobile, wearable and digital health technology come together in hospital settings to provide superior patient care. Through simulated demonstrations at the pavilion, visitors are able to see how IoT-connected sensors, mobile devices and data analytics are enabling caregivers to deliver real-time, precision medicine. On the backend, organizations must ensure that they have the proper wired and wireless networking infrastructure in place from the access points all the way to the data center to avoid bottlenecks and provide reliable 24/7 coverage.
With our technology, hospitals and healthcare organizations are offered seamless mobility and optimized application performance ranging from patient telemetry monitoring to critical communications systems. When applied, this offers secure connectivity and medical device management, better location-based services to protect data and real-time management and analytics. The result helps save lives, improve access to care, prevent security vulnerabilities and reduce costs in hospital settings. Our team is committed to delivering this unmatched and consistent level of services for the healthcare industry through their approach to connectivity.
Besides Extreme’s presence in the IHP, we will have experts demonstrating our mission-critical, wired and wireless networking and analytics technology at booth: B04:48. We’ll discuss cybersecurity and delivery of IT services into clinical environments with attendees among other top eHealth trends.
